Flyttanmalan vs. mail forwarding, what is the difference?
The Skatteverket move notification changes your official (folkbokford) address. Mail forwarding is a separate, usually paid service via Svensk Adressandring that redirects letters to your new address.
Which subscriptions must I cancel or move?
Typically: electricity, internet and broadband, address-linked TV and streaming, parking and association fees, alarm and security, and your home insurance (update the address). Check each contract notice period.
What notice period applies to a rental?
Usually three calendar months, but always check your lease. You do not give notice on an owned apartment (bostadsratt); you sell it.
Do I need to update home insurance?
